Qld: Woman stabbed to death
BRISBANE, Feb 26 AAP - A woman has been found stabbed to death on Brisbane's northernoutskirts in the same area an abducted cab driver escaped from attackers last week.
She was found in a carpark at the Deepwater Bend Reserve on the banks of the NorthPine River at Bald Hills at about 8am (AEST) today.
Detective Inspector John Hegarty said the area was a popular fishing spot and indicationswere that the woman's body had been there for only a few hours before it was discoveredby council workers.
She was aged in her 30s.
